Online poker has become world celebrated recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the bank instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier announcing "No further bets." At that point, both you and the house and of course all of the different players attain five cards. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you must in turn make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s value is on same level to your beginning bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your wager goes instantly to the dealer. After the wager is the showdown. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, including a figure on par with the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pays chips equal to your original bet and set expectations on your call bet. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
