Poker Aces references two aces dealt before theflop. It’s the best attainable pre-flop hand inholdem Poker. But regardless many bettors find themselves on the losing end when dealt these cards.
When you’re dealt a set of Aces, you just do not drop out pre-flop. You’re sitting with the best possible hand at this part of the round. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I would say no to that.
Remember, you’re trying to earn as much profit out of this strong position. You will want to maximize the possibility. Going all-in will actually scare most players into folding before making a bet.
If you’re in the initial seat (first or second to place a bet), you will make a single wager. Anybody with a decent hand will call, hopefully somebody might raise. If someone has made a raise don’t spring to re-raise or call, wait for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
Following the flop your tactic will be to get rid of any player that could get a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise aggressively, if you are lucky you’ll fool one player into thinking that you are bluffing.
If you’re in the center or later position (one of the last to cast a bet) you’ll watch as everybody calls and then raise. Even though you are sitting with a pair of aces, if you can try to abstain from a show-down. Defend your hand by forcing others to drop out after the flop. If you don’t abolish your opponents you risk squandering your hand.
