Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Based on the old Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the west in an excellent game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the house, unlike the majority of other poker games that players play against other players. By playing against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to worry about other, more advanced gamblers winning their cash.
An additional Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game pace, rookies are able to take their time and plan without having to make quick decisions.
It is also easier to gamble on for an extended time with only a little bit of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned 7 cards face up and the croupier receives seven cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one two card hand must be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the houses.
