Have you observed the new PokerPro texas hold’em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about two weeks back when I took a quick trip with my mom to the WinStar Gambling establishment in Oklahoma.
As I waited for my name to be acknowledged at the live tables, I watched how the other persons around the PokerPro tables interacted with one another. It was quite interesting to say the very least. Since the poker table was controlled by a computer, there had been no poker chips to do any chip hints, no cards to shuffle and the real live experience was stale. Perhaps I was the only one that noticed this, except I did observe the gamblers at the table had a dull quality to them. The reason for this may possibly be because there was no human conversation with the dealer, the environment was rather boring and the players looked tired. It was almost as if I was viewing a live variant of an online holdem poker room instead of being seated with hot bodied humans. It was a little bit freaky and I kept flashing back to a show of The Next Generation and the holodeck broke down.
Since the waiting time for the live tables for more than an hour, I decided to observe how the game play was and to encounter this new hold em poker gaming technologies. Right after wagering a couple of hands, I actually felt like I was playing at residence. The lack of activity at the table was the main reason. I like to stack and shuffle my chips, and mix my cards around. None of those items are feasible at these electronic tables.
Another thing I observed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I wagered a good deal of hands in the PokerPro table and discovered that the bet on was a good deal like an online holdem poker site. That could have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to become very odd.
Right after wagering a couple of rounds with this "unique texas hold em poker technology", I decided that the PokerPro tables had been not for me. I’m better off wagering hold’em poker online at house and not travel the distance. If WinStar Casino have been to get rid of the live poker tables, I think they’d loose a great deal of players.
